• A question people often ask me is, “What area do you specialise in?” and I always reply with the same answer, “I went freelance so I could write on a wide variety of subjects, choosing topics that are of most interest to me.”

  • A question people often ask me is, “What area do you specialise in?” and I always reply with the same answer, “I went freelance so I could write on a wide variety of subjects, choosing topics that are of most interest to me.”

The reality is that I love writing and I have been fortunate to contribute to leading consumer and contract publications, including daily newspapers, consumer magazines and websites around the world, such as The Australian, The Times, The Guardian, The Financial Times, The Sunday Telegraph, Campus Review, Business Age, Inside Sport, Management Today, In the Black, Charter, theaustralian.com.au, thetimes.co.uk, ninemsn.com.au and afl.com.au

I have launched publications including the Sydney Swans Yearbook and the official AFL Diary and written and edited The Good Questions Guide. In 2013, I edited the official Cricket Australia publication TopOrder.

  • I have written feature articles, profiled business leaders and compiled most influential lists. I’ve crafted news stories, match reports and investigative pieces and I’ve analysed detailed company and political reports. I have been lucky enough to interview CEOs, MDs, leading chairmen, entrepreneurs, doctors, nurses, charity workers, everyday people and of course politicians.

In 2013, I was asked to compile and write the Top 50 most influential business people for The Australian.

Unfortunately, due to pay walls at News Limited, I can’t provide any PDFs of published stories but if you are a paid subscriber to News Limited, you will be able to find stories I have written.

Prior to my decision to enter into the freelance world, I held the positions of publisher, editor-in-chief, editor and business manager, amongst other titles. I completed my Executive MBA from the Cranfield School of Management in the UK.
